- FX Networks created a viewer's association and utilized social networks to support their large fan following for the popular television series.
- Objective
- FX Networks desired a social presence to amplify support for Season 2 of their popular 'Sons of Anarchy' TV series in a timely manner.
- Strategy & Execution
- Avenue Social Inc. created a customized 'Sons of Anarchy' Fan Page with a link to the FX Studios website and other relevant information such as blogs and an RSS feed. Users can upload pictures of their favorite actors, view their profiles, participate in an online discussion forum and air their views about the TV show. In addition, there is a ranking section where viewers can vote for their likes and dislikes about each episode.
- Results
- The page has almost 550,000 fans in a brief period of a few months. The continuous updates to the Fan Page ensure that viewers keep returning to the Page and give constructive feedback regarding what they like and dislike.
