The director of Smokin’ Aces and Narc brings you back into the adrenaline-pumping world of blood, bullets and badasses. Packed with insane mercenaries, sexy assassins and more of the fan-favorite Tremor family, this all-new explosive film tells the story of a low-level FBI agent with a high price on his head. May the best hit man survive!

Avenue Social was commissioned to bring this super hit movie by Universal Studios to Facebook.

We started out by developing a Fan Page for the movie with all the basic ingredients such as the Wall, Info Page, Add Fans, Forums, etc.

To capture the true essence of the Movie, we added a custom “What Assassin Are You” quiz where Fans can interact with the Fan Page and based on their answers they would be give an assassin status as per the many characters in the film. This can be shared on their profile as well as with their friends and published.

Avenue Social then developed a custom Social RPG game in line with the movies plot which was added as another Tab on the Fan Page. This allowed users to play a game and compete with their friends. Game was developed based on a viral and engagement strategy where it would allow fans of the movie to interact with other fans, compete via a leaderboard and offer its fans a chance to keep revisiting the page to play the game. This also promotes the movie as Fans results are published on their profiles, they can invite other friends to play with them and the movies theme and characters are replayed via the Fan Page attracting more people towards the movie.

We also added a photo gallery and a video gallery to the Fan Page for the Fans.

Avenue Social also added a promotion giveaway which has an email capture form to build a mailing list for the film.

All in all, it was a wonderful experience developing a Fan Page for Smokin’ Aces 2 as it allowed us to use all our creativity in capturing and engaging the movies Fan as well as adding new Fans and promoting this movie via Facebook Fan Pages and seeing Social Media at its best.
