This time the elections in the Unites states of America brought a huge number of people to the polls. This activity made it easier for Facebook users around the world to have an idea of the results of the 44th presidential elections of the USA before they were officially announced. The entire day the count of votes kept running and climbing along it peoples comments and views were also coming inn thought the day.The nationalism the energy and strength that the people showed on that day was out standing. Their comments appreciations encouragements throughout the time were very valuable.
Facebook was used by the candidates and their campaigns affectively and regularly stay in contact with their supporters and cheerers. This encouraged the participants to turn up to the oiling stations in large numbers and motivated the public immensely.Facebook helped its users to actively participated and interacted in the entire political scene on the day of election and even before that. On the Election Day more than 1.5 million of eligible to vote users logged on Facebook. Over 1.5 million of the Facebook users mentioned Obama, McCain, Palin,Biden or Election on your Facebook wall, a larger number than 2.4 million of you jointed hands with the Facebook election day event to motivate and encourage your friends family and loved ones to use their rite to vote and play their part in the democratic process. 1.7 million or above donated their status and joined hands in the election rally through the Causes application. Even more than 2 million gifts related to elections were given away on Facbook. Finally Obama is the president of the United States and Facebook is proud for participating in the revolutionary democratic process.
